Pretzel Crusted Chicken

Total time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

1 lb thin cut chicken breast or chicken breast tenders

1 cup egg whites

7.2 oz pretzel crisps

Trader Joe's Umami Seasoning (optional)



Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray

3. Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels

4. Put pretzels in food processor or blender and pulse until desired consistency

5. Put pretzel crumbs in a shallow bowl and egg whites in a separate shallow bowl.



6. Dip chicken in egg whites until covered, then roll in pretzel crumbs until well covered and place on baking sheet

7. Bake chicken for about 12 minutes or until fully cooked through. Sprinkle with Umami seasoning if desired (or your favorite hot sauce)
