Jalapeno Mustard

I am a big fan of sauces and condiments. This is one of my favorites as you can put it on pretty much anything and it will automatically taste better. This goes well on sandwiches, you can throw it on vegetables before roasting, use it to dress chicken, etc.

Total time: 10 minutes

Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients:

1/2 cup dijon mustard

2 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp mustard powder

2 tbsp mustard seeds

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp honey

1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos

1 tbsp pickling juice from the jalapenos

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Taste and add seasonings as needed. If you like spicy foods, add more jalapenos. If you don't like a lot of heat, omit the pickled jalapeno juice and add an extra tbsp of apple cider vinegar. You could also make this with cherry peppers for extra heat.
